Prius Prime

From its quad LED headlights, to its LED rear combination lamps, Prius Prime cuts a strikingly edgy figure. Designers made full use of the new TNGA platform to craft a vehicle with rich visual appeal, with lower lines and a more athletic profile. Its fluid and futuristic form is also one of the secrets behind its exceptional fuel efficient nature. Incorporating advanced aerodynamics, like an automatic grille shutter, Prius Prime boasts a co-efficient of drag that's expected to among the lowest for production sedans. Light weight components, including some made of aluminum, carbon fiber and high-tensile steel help keep Prius Prime weight in check.

Where can a full charge and a full tank of gas take you? Prius Prime anticipates a class-leading estimated 965 km. That translates into manufacturer-estimated1.96 Le /100km* - a 22 percent reduction in fuel consumption from its predecessor. A feat made possible by an equally impressive number of advances like greater battery capacity and an improved hybrid system. Prius Prime is also exceptionally responsive. A result of innovations like a Toyota-first drive system that uses both electric motor and generator to produce drive torque. There's no special equipment for home charging. The battery takes approximately 5.5 hours using a standard household outlet - and less than half that time with a 240V source.

 

 

Our most futuristic looking vehicle, is also our most technologically advanced, with available features like: 11.6" HD Display; a full colour Head Up Display; Qi wireless charging; and an Intelligent Parking Assist system, that can reverse into perpendicular spaces, and automatically steer out of a parallel space.
