A true driver's car, the GR86 is available with a six-speed manual transmission or paddle-shifted six-speed automatic to make the most out of the rear wheel drivetrain.

Carrying on the spirit of the famed AE86, this is Toyota's second vehicle in the GR line and to earn that badge, the GR86 was put through a punishing regime on the track by the same team that powers Toyota Gazoo Racing on the world stage.  Everything was rebuilt from the ground up to ignite the rush of exhilaration with every push of the pedal.  Reduced weight, increased power and improved aerodynamics are just a few of the changes.

GR86 features a 2.4L flat-four boxer engine with Toyota's innovative D-4S dual injection system and a 12.5:1 compression ratio for maximum power.  The 2022 GR86 adds 25 horsepower and 28 lb.-ft. of torque over the previous generation as well as new technology features including standard 8" Touchscreen Display, Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Audio Plus with Remote Connect (3 year trial) and Smart Key System with Push Button Start.

To add confidence and peach of mind for drivers, the new GR86 comes standard with Safety features such as Backup Camera and LED Daytime Running Lights.  Automatic transmission models also come standard with Pre-Collision Braking, Pre-Collision Throttle Management, Full-Speed Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Warning, Sway Warning and Lead Vehicle Start Alert.

Available in two option packages the Premium model features Leather/Alcantara Seats, Heated Front Seats and Aluminum Sport Pedals, 18" Alloy Wheels on Michelin Pilot Sport 4 tires, Duckbill Spoiler, Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross Traffic Alert and Adaptive Front Lighting System and Automatic High Beam Assist.
